Our Team

Erik W. Peterson

President

Erik has over 35 years of experience in construction and development and has worked across the country on a broad range of projects ranging from hospitality, high-tech, infrastructure, hospital, industrial, ultra-high-end residential, commercial, and resort properties. Erik has a rich depth of knowledge and experience that he freely shares with Owners, Architects, and Contractors.

Mr. Peterson has written numerous training course materials and books and most recently launched OAC University specifically created to provide online training for Owners, Architects, Contractors and Craftsmen. He is a frequent speaker at Colorado State University and host of ‘Building Science Basics Seminar’ which is a one-day seminar offered to professional consultants and general contractors.

Tyler Faucett

Director of Construction & Engineering

Tyler has almost 10 years of experience working as a mechanical engineer in product R&D, working in the automotive, oil & gas, & high-tech industries. He has recently brought his technical skill set to the construction industry. Tyler is currently managing various projects at OAC, where he is always striving to provide the team with clear direction and a cogent plan.

Shawn Akin

Director of Construction

Shawn moved to Vail, CO in 2005 after receiving his undergraduate degree in Finance. Eager to engage in the professional world, Shawn was hired as a project engineer for a new commercial development project in Avon, CO by Erik Peterson. Shawn since has over 15 years of construction industry experience (8 years with OAC) with various roles including construction project management, restoration management, estimating, finance management, due diligence, equipment rental sales, and business development. After 8 years of initial industry experience, Shawn chose to seek further education and obtained his Master’s in Real Estate and Construction Management in 2015. He enjoys managing professional client and consultant relationships through the project life cycle process and the various project challenges that arise daily.

Eddy Cotton

Director of Construction

For the past 23 years Eddy has been in the construction industry working and evolving his way from a carpenter to his current role of Director of Construction. To further his education, Eddy attended Colorado State University and received a degree in Construction Management. His experience and education reflect the passion and dedication he has for construction. His professional accomplishments were achieved as a result of his leadership and communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong work ethic. He has experience working on numerous residential and commercial construction projects, offering a variety of skills in owner’s representation, project management, field management, quality assurance, restoration, and property management. As a native of the western slope of Colorado and having spent the majority of his career in the Rocky Mountains, he has an understanding of the unique needs within mountain communities and have built strong relationships within the construction industry.

Jenny Lau has over 22 years of finance management in her role as Project Accountant at OAC Management Inc. She has a passion for numbers and strives to apply her expertise to benefit our client’s, their projects and the OAC Team. Whether it be forecasting, budget planning and management, or financial analysis, Jenny brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to all projects. In addition to the finance piece, Jenny loves building relationships. She knows the importance of personal connections and building trust, both of which play key roles in having a successful project. Being a Colorado Native, she loves living in the mountains with her family and their sweet pug, Kona.

Lynnette Miscio

Executive Administrator

Lynnette Miscio brings nearly 15 years of branch and office management experience to her role as Executive Administrator at OAC Management Inc. A people-person to her core, Lynnette truly cares about each person she is privileged to serve – clients and employees alike. As a part of OAC, she is most excited to get to be a part of an organization that is committed to building with quality and longevity as its goal. Before accepting her position at OAC, Lynnette worked as a branch manager for a staffing company that specialized in providing support for construction jobs of all sizes. Though she excels at communication and detail management, her favorite part of the job is seeing projects move through each phase into completion. Lynnette has a knack for finding the silver lining of even the most challenging situations. She resides in Colorado where she enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time with her family.
